About UsThe initial members participated in the Barack Obama campaign directly or were deeply influenced by the movement for change, hope and the power we have as individuals to make a difference.
We first met as a group in Yonkers New York on December 14th, 2008 along with thousands of other "House Meetings" that were held that weekend across America. We are inspired to continue the momentum and take action.
We are New Yorkers who are continuing the grassroots movement that came to light during the Barack Obama campaign for presidency, and we will continue to make a big difference for those in need because we have a commitment to make the lives of our fellow Americans better, and we know we must be the change we wish to see in the world.
